Payment Questions

How do I make a tax payment?
Payments are made directly through official sites:
IRS: https://www.irs.gov/payments
NC: https://www.ncdor.gov/pay

You’ll need your Social Security number or ITIN, tax year, filing status, and bank account info. Paying by bank draft avoids extra credit or debit card fees.

When are taxes due?
Federal and NC returns are usually due April 15. If it falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline moves to the next business day. Extensions give more time to file, but not more time to pay.
